What is the difference between iontophoresis and electroporation?

Ionto(=Iontophoresis) employs low and continuous current (less than 5mA) and works mostly with ionized solutions
(like Vitamin C solutions).

EP (=electroporation) uses high voltage pulses by controlling active & rest phase of current (not continuous as Iontophoresis).
It is rhythmical, therefore it is possible to make direct paths. But EP passes only temporarily on skin.
EP/Triple MCH lets penetrate all solutions – also without the mode settings (-/+). But by regulating the setting (+/-) (depending on the solution)
will definitely improve penetration. Most solutions are positive charged,
so the settings on the device should be on positive (working like a magnet, pushing the ingredient even deeper into the skin)
